Winter Weather Advisory issued December 14 at 5:17AM CST until December 14 at 9:00AM CST by NWS Omaha/Valley NE

* WHAT…Freezing rain expected. Total ice accumulations up to two
tenths of an inch. Some snow could mix with the freezing rain this
morning in northeast Nebraska. Snow accumulations up to a half an
inch.

* WHERE…Portions of southwest and west central Iowa and east
central, northeast, and southeast Nebraska.

* WHEN…Until 9 AM CST this morning.

* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact travel, especially near and south of
Interstate 80.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Wintry precipitation will transition to rain
from south to north from around midnight to 6 AM Saturday morning
across most of the area, though the mix may continue for portions
of northeast Nebraska. Precipitation chances diminish Saturday
afternoon.
