Special Weather Statement issued December 15 at 5:37AM EST by NWS Detroit/Pontiac MI

Freezing rain continues for areas along and north of I-69. Ice
accumulations of up to 0.06″ have been observed at MBS
International Airport in Saginaw, with additional ice
accumulations of up to 0.05″ possible through 9 AM EST. With air
temperatures between 31 and 34 degrees and road temperatures
between 31 and 35 degrees, slick spots are likely especially on
untreated roadways and elevated surfaces such as bridges,
overpasses, and exit ramps. Motorists should be prepared for
changing road conditions and allow extra time to reach their
destination. Sidewalks and parking lots may also be slippery this
morning.
