Winter Weather Advisory issued December 15 at 3:15AM AKST until December 16 at 4:00AM AKST by NWS Anchorage AK

* WHAT…Snow. Additional snow accumulations of 10 to 15 inches.

* WHERE…Valdez to Thompson Pass.

* WHEN…From 1 AM Sunday to 4 AM AKST Monday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous
conditions could impact the morning commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Steady light snow will continue from Valdez
along the Richardson Highway to Thompson Pass today. The snow is
expected to become heavier in intensity this afternoon and
evening Sunday heavy snow at times through early Monday morning
before tapering off Monday afternoon. Snowfall rates during
this time could approach one to two inches per hour. Heavy snow
will significantly reduce visibility.
