Winter Weather Advisory issued December 15 at 3:16AM PST until December 16 at 10:00PM PST by NWS Eureka CA

* WHAT…Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 6
inches along highway passes above 3000 feet. Higher amounts
possible on high peaks.

* WHERE…Trinity County above 2800 feet.

* WHEN…From 10 PM this evening to 10 PM PST Monday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. Chains may be required
when traveling through mountain passes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…1 to 3 inches most likely along Highway 36
east of Forest Glen, on 299 around Buckhorn Summit, and on Highway
3 around Hayfork Summit. 2 to 5 inches most likely around Trinity
Lake and 4 to 8 inches most likely on Highway 3 at Scott Mountain
Summit.
