Winter Weather Advisory issued December 16 at 3:18AM AKST until December 16 at 9:00PM AKST by NWS Fairbanks AK

* WHAT…Blowing snow. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph will
create blowing and drifting snow with visibility reduced to one
half mile or less at times.

* WHERE…Along the Arctic Coast from Deadhorse east.

* WHEN…Until 9 PM AKST this evening.

* IMPACTS…Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce
visibility. The cold wind chills as low as 30 below zero could
cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Winds will peak during the day today.
