Special Weather Statement issued December 17 at 4:34AM EST by NWS Newport/Morehead City NC

Patchy dense fog continues across portions of eastern North
Carolina early this morning. Sudden reductions to visibility can
be expected with visibilities dropping below 1/2 mile at times.
Visibilities are expected to improve between 8 and 9 AM as mixing
begins after sunrise and winds increase.

If traveling, allow extra time to reach your destination.
