– At 1005 AM EST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
slow moving thunderstorms drifting south southwest. Minor
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the
advisory area.
– Rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are expected over the area
during the next couple of hours as the storms move slowly
south southwest. These rain will result in minor flooding.If
the rainfall amounts increase more than forecast, then a
Flash Flood warning may be needed for this area.
