.The Skokomish River at Potlach is currently in moderate flooding.
The river is expected to rise into major flooding this morning
before falling tonight into Thursday.
* WHAT…Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE…Skokomish River at Potlatch.
* WHEN…Until Friday afternoon.
* IMPACTS…At 18.0 feet, the Skokomish River will cause major, near
record flooding throughout the Skokomish Valley. Deep and swift
flood waters will inundate residential areas, many roads including
SR 106, and much of the farm land. Flooding will occur all along
the river including headwaters, tributaries, and other streams
within and near the Skokomish River Basin.

morning. It will then fall below flood stage late this
evening to 15.5 feet tomorrow afternoon. It will rise to 15.8
feet early Friday morning. It will then fall to 15.3 feet
Saturday afternoon. It will then rise above flood stage
Sunday evening.
