The widespread dense fog from earlier this morning has begun to
dissipate, and visibilities across the area are improving.
However, areas of dense fog persist over southern and eastern
portions of central North Carolina, reducing visibilities to less
than a half mile in some locations. Motorists are advised to
continue using extra caution this morning, and be alert for sudden
changes in visibility.
