Special Weather Statement issued December 18 at 4:14AM CST by NWS La Crosse WI

Confidence continues to increase in the potential for a plowable
snow along and north of the Interstate 94 corridor from late
tonight into Thursday evening. Snow amounts in these areas may
range from 3 to 7 inches. There is still some uncertainty on
amounts, where this band may occur, and how wide this band of
snow may become.

Slippery to hazardous travel conditions may impact the morning
and evening commutes. Drivers should prepare for a slower and
longer commutes on Thursday and keep up with the latest forecasts
and statements from the National Weather Service.
