Winter Storm Warning issued December 18 at 1:36AM MST until December 19 at 12:00AM MST by NWS Great Falls MT

* WHAT…Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations up to 5
inches at and below pass level, with up to a foot above pass
level. Winds gusting as high as 95 mph.

* WHERE…East Glacier Park Region Zone.

* WHEN…Until midnight MST tonight.

* IMPACTS…Tire chains may be required for some vehicles if
traveling through mountain passes. Widespread blowing snow could
significantly reduce visibility. Very strong winds could cause
extensive damage to trees and power lines.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…The greatest snow amounts are forecast for
the highest peaks in Glacier National Park. Strong winds will
result in at least patchy blowing and drifting snow.
