Winter Storm Watch issued December 18 at 3:36AM CST until December 20 at 12:00AM CST by NWS Duluth MN

* WHAT…Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations between 4 and
6 inches except between 3 and 8 inches for the higher terrain of
the North Shore possible.

* WHERE…In Minnesota, Carlton and South St. Louis, Southern Cook,
and Southern Lake Counties. In Wisconsin, Bayfield and Douglas
Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Fond du Lac Band,
the Grand Portage Reservation and the Red Cliff Band. Recreation
spots such as the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore.

* WHEN…From late tonight through Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS…Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult.
The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday morning and
evening commutes.
