Winter Storm Watch issued December 18 at 6:32AM CST until December 19 at 6:00PM CST by NWS Bismarck ND

* WHAT…Heavy snow and blowing snow possible. There is a 60 percent
chance of at least 6 inches of snow, with a low chance of
exceeding 8 inches. Winds could gust as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE…Portions of north central North Dakota and the James River
Valley.

* WHEN…From 3 PM CST this afternoon through Thursday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. Widespread blowing snow
could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes.
