Winter Weather Advisory issued December 18 at 3:51AM AKST until December 18 at 6:00PM AKST by NWS Juneau AK

…NEXT ROUND OF SNOW FOR THE SOUTHERN PANHANDLE…

.Low pressure will track east northeast through Dixon Entrance
through Wednesday bringing a period of snow to the far southern
panhandle. Freezing levels will rise through Wednesday, causing a
change over to rain as the system moves out. Lower snowfall totals
will occur as the system is now expected to move through faster.

* WHAT…Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 5
inches..

* WHERE…Prince of Wales Island.

* WHEN…Until 6 PM AKST this evening.

* IMPACTS…The hazardous conditions could impact the evening
commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Greatest snowfall rates will be through
this morning along east facing slopes.
