…SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL LIKELY FOR MUCH OF CENTRAL INTO SOUTHERN
MINNESOTA AND WESTERN WISCONSIN…

snow is expected to fall near and north of a line from Redwood Falls
to Red Wing MN to Eau Claire WI, including all of the Twin Cities
metro. Lesser snowfall amounts will occur to the south of that line.
Strong winds will also cause blowing snow and potentially reduced
visibilities, especially across western and southwestern Minnesota.

* WHAT…Snow. Total snow accumulations between 3 and 5 inches.
Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE…Blue Earth, Brown, Steele, Waseca, Watonwan, Redwood,

* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow
could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Thursday morning and evening commutes.
