Winter Weather Advisory issued December 19 at 8:19AM CST until December 20 at 3:00AM CST by NWS La Crosse WI

…WINTER STORM BRINGING HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS…

.The storm system is starting to take a southerly track, and thus
the band of heaviest snow is also starting to shift southward. The
warning and advisory have been expanded southward to account for
this shift. Total snow amounts remain to be in the 5 to 8 inch range
within the heaviest band and travel will be hazardous.

* WHAT…Snow. Additional snow accumulations between 2 and 4 inches.

* WHERE…Portions of southeast Minnesota and southwest Wisconsin.

* WHEN…Until 3 AM CST Friday.

* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Thursday evening commute.
