Beach Hazards Statement issued December 19 at 5:43PM PST until December 19 at 6:00PM PST by NWS San Francisco CA

* WHAT…A moderate to long period west to northwest swell will
result in an increasing risk of sneaker waves and rip currents.
Sneaker waves breaking between 10 and 13 feet. For the High Surf
Advisory, expect large west swell with breaking waves 15 to 18
feet, including breakers near 20 feet are possible.

* WHERE…San Francisco, Coastal North Bay Including Point Reyes
National Seashore, San Francisco Peninsula Coast, Northern
Monterey Bay and Southern Monterey Bay and Big Sur Coast
Counties.

* WHEN…From 6 AM Saturday to 4 PM PST Sunday.

* IMPACTS…Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and
localized beach erosion.
