Winter Weather Advisory issued December 20 at 10:30AM EST until December 20 at 10:00PM EST by NWS Detroit/Pontiac MI

* WHAT…Snow. Additional snow accumulations between 1 and 3 inches.

* WHERE…Huron, Sanilac, and St. Clair Counties.

* WHEN…Until 10 PM EST this evening.

* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Friday evening commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Additional lake effect snow banding becomes
possible this afternoon and evening which will be capable of
producing a quick additional 1 to 3 inches. Snow bands will then
move offshore late tonight.

At 528 PM CDT, an automated weather station reported gusty showers along a line extending from near Burwell to near Berwyn to near Moorefield. Movement was east southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Automated Weather Station. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Ord, Loup City, Scotia, Fort Hartsuff State Park, Litchfield, Sherman Reservoir Dam, Lexington, Smithfield, Arcadia, Overton, Cozad, Sumner, Miller, Farnam, Elwood, and North Loup. This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 212 and 248.

Special Weather Statement issued April 21 at 3:53PM MDT by NWS Great Falls MT

Scattered thunderstorms moving southeast over much of North Central and Central Montana east of the Rocky Mountain Front will continue through at least the afternoon hours. These storms are producing isolated cloud-to-ground lightning strikes, brief heavy rainfall, wind gusts to 40 mph, and small hail or graupel. These storms may also produce brief cold air funnels, which are mostly harmless. However, if they briefly touch down as landspouts, they may cause even stronger winds gusts or possibly some minor damage to trees or structures. If you spot either of these, move indoors until the storm passes, and we would appreciate
