Winter Weather Advisory issued December 20 at 1:29AM EST until December 21 at 6:00AM EST by NWS Jackson KY

* WHAT…Snow will develop late this morning. It may be mixed with
rain at times, but will become all snow by this evening. Total
snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are expected for most
locations, with the most significant accumulations expected above
1500 feet elevation.

* WHERE…A portion of southeast Kentucky.

* WHEN…From 10 AM this morning to 6 AM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact this evening’s commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…With valley temperatures forecast to be above
freezing during the day today, most of the initial snow is likely
to melt in those locations. However, as temperatures fall to the
freezing mark around sunset, valleys can also expect light
accumulations.
