…FREEZING RAIN FOR ICY STRAIT CORRIDOR AND PETERSBURG…

.A shallow layer of colder air near the surface has resulted in
freezing rain mixing in with snow across parts of the Icy Strait
Corridor and Petersburg. Minor ice accumulations are possible.
Precipitation will diminish during the early morning timeframe
and temperatures will warm Friday afternoon.

* WHAT…Freezing rain mixing in with rain and snow. Additional
snow accumulations of up to one inch and ice accumulations of a
light glaze.

* WHERE…Gustavus and City and Borough of Juneau.

* WHEN…Until 9 AM AKST this morning.

* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery conditions. The hazardous conditions
could impact the morning commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Precipitation will diminish through the
early morning hours on Friday.
