to 4 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE…Haywood, Madison, Mitchell, Swain, and Yancey Counties
above 3500 feet along the Tennessee border.

* WHEN…From 1 PM this afternoon to 1 PM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS…The snowfall will create slippery and snow covered
roadways. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.
