Special Weather Statement issued December 20 at 1:58PM AKST by NWS Fairbanks AK

Heavy snow is looking likely in the Interior from Monday-Thursday.
As of now, the Fairbanks area looks to miss most of the snow and
be on the outer edges. However, north and west towards Tanana,
Bettles and the Dalton Highway, expect periods of heavy snow next
week. Snowfall totals over the 4 day stretch may approach or
exceed 12 inches in some spots.

Fairbanks North Star Borough may be around a few inches. As of
now there is too much uncertainty to give exact snowfall amounts.
