Wind Advisory issued December 21 at 5:05AM PST until December 21 at 10:00AM PST by NWS Medford OR

* WHAT…For the High Wind Warning, south winds 40 to 50 mph with
gusts up to 65 mph expected. For the Wind Advisory, southeast
winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.

* WHERE…For the Advisory, portions of the Shasta Valley in central
Siskiyou County. This includes Interstate 5 from Grenada to
Gazelle, and the city of Montague. For the High Wind Warning,
highway 97 northeast of Weed, Interstate 5 south of Grenada, and
the city of Weed.

* WHEN…Until 10 AM PST this morning.

* IMPACTS…Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles.
