Special Weather Statement issued December 21 at 4:36PM AKST by NWS Fairbanks AK

Heavy snow is expected to develop across the Northern Interior
Monday morning and continue through Thursday. Around the
Fairbanks metro area expecting 1 to 3 inches of snowfall.
However, north and west of Fairbanks towards Tanana, Bettles and
the Dalton Highway, expect periods of heavy snow and snowfall
totals over the 4 day stretch around 6 to 10 inches in some spots.
There could be areas of blowing snow and low visibility along the
Dalton Highway on Monday due to gusty winds.
