Special Weather Statement issued December 22 at 6:15AM AKST by NWS Fairbanks AK

Periods of snow are expected to develop across the Northern
Interior Monday morning and continue through Thursday. Expect
periods of heavy snow in areas around and to the west of the
Dalton Highway and north of Tanana with snowfall totals over the 4
day stretch around 6 to 10 inches in some spots. Expect lower snow
totals from Livengood to Manly Hot Springs. Snowfall will be
spottier and lighter south of the Dalton Highway where 2 to 4
inches is expected.

Traveler’s should expect possible hazardous road conditions and
travel delays.
