Special Weather Statement issued December 23 at 6:27AM CST by NWS Twin Cities/Chanhassen MN

Areas of freezing drizzle expected to transition to light snow
this morning. Amounts will be light, with the highest snowfall
totals expected in the Eau Claire area, where up to a half inch of
snow is possible. While amounts will be light, it’s possible that
slick spots may develop on the roads. Drivers are encouraged to
use caution when traveling this morning, leaving plenty of
distance to stop if encountering wintry precipitation.
