High Wind Watch issued December 24 at 3:44AM AKST until December 26 at 3:00AM AKST by NWS Juneau AK

* WHAT…Southeast winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph
possible.

* WHERE…City and Borough of Sitka, Prince of Wales Island,
Ketchikan Gateway Borough and Annette Island.

* WHEN…From late Tuesday night through late Wednesday night.

* IMPACTS…High winds could blow around unsecured objects,
damage property and cause power outages. Travel could be
difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…There is some uncertainty on the track of
the low. If the low tracks further west, the winds will not be
as strong as if the low were to track more eastward. We will
continue to monitor this system. Expect the highest wind gusts
starting Wednesday morning along the southern coast.
