Surface observations and webcams indicate areas of fog continue
across northwest and west-central Missouri and far northeast
Kansas late this morning. Fog is especially dense in Platte and
Clay counties northward into portions of Buchanan, Andrew, and
Clinton counties. With temperatures near freezing, a few slick
spots may develop on bridges and overpasses in areas of
particularly dense fog.
Use extra caution when traveling. Slow down, use low-beam
headlights, and maintain extra distance from other vehicles.
