With strong winds gusting as high as 55 to 75 mph across St.
Lawrence Island and temperatures falling into the single digits,
ice accumulations from freezing spray could occur. Residents are
encouraged to pull boats and other exposed objects inland. There
is a possibility that power lines could become ice coated,
resulting in power outages. Winds peak Tuesday evening and fall
gradually through the day Wednesday.
