Winter Weather Advisory issued December 24 at 4:10AM PST until December 25 at 4:00AM PST by NWS Las Vegas NV

* WHAT…Snow expected in the Spring Mountains above 7000 feet.
Total snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches expected. Winds gusting
45 to 55 mph.

* WHERE…Spring Mountains-Red Rock Canyon.

* WHEN…From 4 PM this afternoon to 4 AM PST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. Gusty winds could
bring down tree branches.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Heaviest snow accumulations will be across
Lee Canyon with lighter amounts into Kyle Canyon. Periods of 1 to
2 inch per hour snowfall rates are possible. Slick and icy
roadways can be expected on Highways 156, 157, and 158.
