Winter Weather Advisory issued December 24 at 5:47AM AKST until December 25 at 6:00AM AKST by NWS Fairbanks AK

* WHAT…Snow and blowing snow expected. Additional snow
accumulations of 3 to 5 inches. North winds gusting up to 30
mph will cause blowing snow will reduce visibility to 1/2 mile
or less at times.

* WHERE…Anaktuvuk and Atigun Passes.

* WHEN…Until 6 AM AKST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. The cold wind chills
as low as 30 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin
in as little as 30 minutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Conditions will worsen as heavier snow
begins to fall starting Monday night.
