Winter Weather Advisory issued December 24 at 5:54AM AKST until December 24 at 3:00PM AKST by NWS Fairbanks AK

* WHAT…Snow and blowing snow. Additional snow accumulations of 2
to 4 inches. Winds gusting as high as 25 to 35 mph. Localized
areas of significant blowing and drifting snow.

* WHERE…South Slopes Of The Central Brooks Range and Dalton
Highway Summits.

* WHEN…Until 3 PM AKST today.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow
could significantly reduce visibility. The cold wind chills as
low as 30 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as
little as 30 minutes.
