A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas…
Coastal Waters from Boothville LA to Southwest Pass of the
Mississippi River out 20 nm…
Coastal waters from Southwest Pass of the Mississippi River to
Port Fourchon Louisiana from 20 to 60 NM…
Coastal waters from the Southwest Pass of the Mississippi River to
Port Fourchon Louisiana out 20 NM…

At 1236 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated a cluster of strong
thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and weak
waterspouts. This cluster of thunderstorms is generally located 7 nm
east of Louisiana Offshore Oil Port, or 23 nm south of Grand Isle,
moving northeast at 20 knots.
