Surface observations and MNDOT road cameras reveal dense fog
across portions of central Minnesota. Satellite imagery shows
very little movement of low stratus/areas of dense fog and
conditions continue persist. Visibility may fall below 1/2 mile at
times. Drivers are encouraged to slow down, use low beams, and
leave plenty of distance between the vehicles. Additionally, a few
slick spots appear possible on area roadways due to reports of
freezing fog. Visibility may improve late this afternoon but more
fog is expected tonight.
