Winter Storm Watch issued December 25 at 1:58AM MST until December 27 at 11:00PM MST by NWS Riverton WY

* WHAT…Moderate to heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations
between 12 to 18 inches possible in the mountains; 5 to 10 inches
in the Jackson/Star Valleys and most of Yellowstone NP, with
similar amounts near Togwotee Pass. Winds could gust as high as 40
mph in the mountains during the day Thursday.

* WHERE…Jackson Hole, Teton and Gros Ventre Mountains, Yellowstone
National Park, Salt River and Wyoming Ranges, and Star Valley.

* WHEN…From early Thursday morning through Friday evening.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be difficult. The hazardous conditions
could impact the morning and evening commutes Thursday and Friday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…This will be the start of a multi-day snow
event that could last through Monday. Several feet of snow will be
possible in the mountains, spread out over these 5 days.
