highest across west facing beaches. Strong and dangerous rip
currents are expected.
* WHERE…San Luis Obispo County Beaches and Santa Barbara
County Central Coast Beaches.
* WHEN…Until 4 PM PST Sunday.
* IMPACTS…There is an increased risk for ocean drowning. Rip

breaking waves can cause injury, wash people off beaches and
rocks, and capsize small boats near shore.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Minor coastal flooding is possible within a
couple of hours of the morning high tides, especially over the
weekend. High tides will increase from around 5.5 feet at around
7 AM PST Friday to near 6 feet around 8 AM PST over the

and in low-lying parking lots and bike paths.
