Special Weather Statement issued December 26 at 1:24PM CST by NWS Houston/Galveston TX

At 124 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Pattison, or 8 miles northwest of Brookshire, moving northeast at 30
mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Prairie View, Hockley, Waller, Pine Island, and Monaville.
