Winter Weather Advisory issued December 26 at 2:48AM MST until December 27 at 11:00PM MST by NWS Great Falls MT

* WHAT…Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches
in the mountains, and 3 to 6 inches in higher valleys and over
mountain passes. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph at times.

* WHERE…Gallatin and Madison County Mountains and Centennial
Mountains.

* WHEN…Until 11 PM MST Friday.

* IMPACTS…Plan for winter driving conditions, including
snow-packed roads, and reduced visibility from falling snow and
periods of blowing snow.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Snow is forecast to fall in two separate
periods; today into this evening and Friday into Friday evening.
Each period could produce 3 to 6 inches of snow in the mountains,
and 1 to 3 inches in higher valleys and over mountain passes.
