Special Weather Statement issued December 26 at 10:30PM CST by NWS Lake Charles LA

At 1029 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Holmwood, or near Iowa, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Lacassine, Hayes, Bell City, Iowa, Thornwell, and Holmwood.

This includes Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 41 and
50.
