Special Weather Statement issued December 27 at 11:35AM CST by NWS Twin Cities/Chanhassen MN

Locations beneath the band of rain lifting from south to north along
the I-35 corridor have displayed significant visibility improvements
over the past few hours. It’s likely that locations in western
Wisconsin will undergo further improvements as the shield of rain
moves in this afternoon. While the overall scenario is looking
better from a fog standpoint, those driving should be aware that
areas of low visibility remain possible prior to the arrival of
persistent rainfall.
