Winter Weather Advisory issued December 27 at 1:59PM EST until December 28 at 5:00PM EST by NWS Albany NY

* WHAT…Freezing rain expected. Total ice accumulations up to one
tenth of an inch.

* WHERE…The southern Adirondacks and Lake George and Saratoga
region in eastern New York and southern Vermont.

* WHEN…From 5 AM to 5 PM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS…Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Very slippery sidewalks, roads
and bridges are possible.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Pockets of freezing rain are expected
Saturday morning into the afternoon before precipitation ends or
changes over to plain rain. Given the recent stretch of cold air,
rain may continue to freeze on untreated surfaces for a time after
air temperatures rise above freezing.
