accumulations of 1 to 2 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40
mph from the west. Visibility will be reduced to 1/2 mile or
less at times.
* WHERE…Eastern Beaufort Sea Coast.
* WHEN…Until 9 PM AKST this evening.
* IMPACTS…Areas of blowing snow will significantly reduce
visibility. The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 55
below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little
as 5 minutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…The worst conditions will be late this
morning near Kaktovik.
