High Wind Watch issued December 27 at 8:27PM PST until December 29 at 10:00AM PST by NWS Medford OR

* WHAT…For the High Wind Warning, southwest winds 25 to 40 mph
with gusts up to 65 mph. For the High Wind Watch, southwest winds
25 to 40 mph with gusts up to 65 mph possible.

* WHERE…Much of Highway 31 from Silver Lake to Valley Falls,
including Summer Lake and also the mountains across Lake County,
eastern Klamath County, and Modoc County.

* WHEN…For the High Wind Warning, until 10 AM PST Saturday. For
the High Wind Watch, from Saturday evening through Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS…Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles.
