Special Weather Statement issued December 28 at 2:24PM CST by NWS Shreveport LA

At 224 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Lufkin, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include…
Lufkin, Nacogdoches, Center, Huntington, San Augustine, Timpson,
Garrison, Melrose, Martinsville, Woden, Etoile, Neuville, Bland
Lake, Appleby, Chireno, Denning, Arcadia, Stockman, Jericho and
Calgary.
