Special Weather Statement issued December 28 at 2:42PM CST by NWS Shreveport LA

At 242 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 17
miles southeast of Huntington, or 24 miles east of Diboll, moving
northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include…
San Augustine, Pineland, Macune, Rosevine, Zavalla, Chireno,
Broaddus, Chinaquapin, Denning, Bronson, McElroy, Dolan and
Shawnee.
