Winter Storm Warning issued December 28 at 5:47AM MST until December 29 at 11:00AM MST by NWS Denver CO

Multiple rounds of snow and gusty winds will continue to impact the
northern Colorado mountains through Monday. One break in the action
will occur this morning, but then the next round moves in this
afternoon and evening. Another break is expected Sunday late
morning through early evening, before the final wave of snow moves
in late Sunday evening and continues through at least mid day
Monday. If you are planning to travel through the northern Colorado
mountains, attempt to do so when winter travel conditions will have
less impact during one of those breaks.

* WHAT…Snow redeveloping and becoming heavy at times late this
afternoon and evening. Areas of blowing snow. New snow
accumulations through Sunday morning between 8 and 18 inches.
Winds gusting as high as 55 mph.

* WHERE…Rabbit Ears Pass.

* WHEN…From 11 AM this morning to 11 AM MST Sunday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Widespread
blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.
