* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE…A portion of western North Carolina, including the
following county, Henderson.

* WHEN…Until midnight EST tonight.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Some low-water crossings may become impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 149 PM EST, Heavy amounts of runoff continued to filter
through the Mud and Bat Fork basins. Minor flooding of low-
lying areas adjacent to these streams and the other smaller
streams in Hendersonville, including Wash Creek, Perry Creek,
and Brittain Creek will linger.

ESTIMATED FORECAST: Mud Creek is likely to continue rising to
near Minor Flood Stage and may exceed Minor Flood Stage this
evening with a crest between 14 and 15 feet possible.

IMPACTS: At 11.5 feet, Action/Advisory Stage. Common,
nuisance flooding of low-lying areas adjacent to Mud Creek is
beginning. The lowest elevations of William H King Memorial
Park are beginning to flood and floodwaters are approaching
the lowest elevations of the Oklawaha Greenway. At this
stage, more expansive lowland flooding with nuisance impacts
to adjacent farmland, golf courses, and nurseries is ongoing
or has recently occurred upstream closer to Erkwood Dr.
