Winter Storm Watch issued December 29 at 1:52AM AKST until December 31 at 3:00PM AKST by NWS Fairbanks AK

* WHAT…Blizzard conditions possible. Winds could gust as high
as 45 mph.

* WHERE…Western Arctic Coast.

* WHEN…From Monday morning through Tuesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce
visibility. The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 50
below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little
as 10 minutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Visibility to 1/4 mile or less is
possible with the strongest wind gusts Monday night.
