High Surf Advisory issued December 30 at 7:33AM PST until December 30 at 9:00PM PST by NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA

* WHAT…Large breaking waves of 5 to 8 feet. Surf will be
highest across west-facing beaches. Strong and dangerous rip
currents are expected.

* WHERE…Ventura County Beaches.

* WHEN…Until 9 PM PST this evening.

* IMPACTS…There is an increased risk for ocean drowning. Rip
currents can pull swimmers and surfers out to sea. Large
breaking waves can cause injury, wash people off beaches and
rocks, and capsize small boats near shore.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Nuisance coastal flooding is possible
within a couple of hours of the high tide this morning.
