Special Weather Statement issued December 29 at 11:26PM EST by NWS Morristown TN

At 1126 PM EST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 8 miles northeast of Maynardville to 6 miles
west of Plainview. Movement was east at 45 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Morristown, Jefferson City, Dandridge, Maynardville, Rutledge, Bean
Station, White Pine, Plainview, New Market, and Russellville.
